The duration of your renovation project It will vary depending on the specific scope of the work involved. Factors such as flooring updates or any necessary structural building work can impact the time. A New Classic - Bondi

A classic, reimagined for modern living. What if you could fall in love with your home all over again? Located directly opposite Sydney's iconic Centennial Park, this character-filled apartment was ready for a new chapter. Rich in heritage charm but tired and in need of attention, the brief was to breathe new life into the home while preserving the details that made it special. The vision was to create a warm, eclectic interior that celebrated the apartment's history while introducing all the conveniences of modern living. Small kitchen, big expectations While the kitchen was modest in size, the wish list certainly wasn't. A freestanding oven, pot filler, integrated appliances, island bench and butler's pantry were all non-negotiable. The client also wanted a third bathroom and the privacy of an internal laundry, having previously relied on the building's communal facilities. Working alongside the client, builders and engineers, we explored what was structurally possible within the available budget. By reconfiguring the layout and setting back an existing wall, we created space for a butler's pantry that could accommodate far more than initially expected. A washer and dryer were cleverly integrated into the pantry, concealed behind pocket doors. Completely out of sight when not in use, this solution provided the convenience and privacy of an internal laundry while preserving the kitchen's clean, charming aesthetic. Because great design isn't about how much space you have. It's about what you can achieve with it.

Classic detailing, modern functionality The kitchen features traditional shaker cabinetry in Dulux Vintage Beige, complemented by Vadara Montessaro stone benchtops and splashbacks.

The substantial 40mm benchtops feature a classic lamb's tongue half-bullnose edge, while curved detailing in the 20mm stone splashback softens the overall design. Antique bronze pulls and knobs complete the timeless palette.

Behind the cabinetry, integrated appliances, concealed storage, internal drawers, a LeMans corner mechanism and considered lighting bring the functionality of a much larger kitchen into this compact space.

Considered throughout Our design extended beyond the kitchen, with custom wardrobes and wall panelling created for all three bedrooms.

Finished in Dulux Natural White, the bespoke beaded profiles introduce architectural detail while complementing the apartment's heritage character.

A home with a story Having completed six projects with this client, our relationship has grown into something far beyond a typical renovation.

An incredibly talented home stylist with an eye for detail, she has brought her own personality to every corner of this apartment. Together, we've created a home where considered joinery, timeless finishes and carefully collected pieces feel completely at ease.

A New Classic is a reminder that you don't need to sacrifice character for functionality, or space for the features you've always wanted.

Sometimes, the best renovations are about rediscovering everything you loved about your home in the first place.
