Our client came to us at a time when she was actively looking for a Kellyville apartment. Her intention was to downsize and begin a new, refreshed chapter in her life.
She needed something smaller and more manageable to work within her changing lifestyle. Using black matte melamine doors, we were able to create a dramatic look combined with a black matte laminate benchtop. This gave her the look she was searching for, and we added to the look by using a smokey mirrored splashback that tied into the look nicely. The kitchen island provided a neat focal point, where we employed the use of a laminate benchtop which is designed to resemble Calcutta marble. This allowed us to stay within budget while still providing the beautiful finished look that our client was looking for. The white island works harmoniously with the benchtop colour and really ties the whole colour scheme together.
The open display features a timber back with glass shelving to add a little bit of warmth to the kitchen space, but overall, this is the perfect example of how a sleek and clean look can be achieved using cost-effective methods and a little personal style. Regardless of the small overall space devoted to the kitchen, the end result was exactly the kind of style the client was looking for- something that could bring her personal style into her new living space.
The kitchen became a statement of her independence and individuality, perfectly designed to express her own vision.
